The HELAAS Digital Publications (helaasdp) is pleased to announce its new open-access e-book titled Reconnections: The Humanities in a Time of Climate Change.

The book has been edited by Thomas Mantzaris, affiliated postdoctoral researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) who is also the current HELAAS Young Scholar Representative (2023-2027).

Hosted by the platform of the National Documentation Center, this third volume launches a new anglophone helaasdp series –  Conversing with American Culture. The series is open to volumes that use a variety of methodological approaches to American Literature and culture, and attempt to shed light on different historical periods and literary texts  as well as cultural trends within the national, comparative or global context. The series General Editors are: Tatiani Rapatzikou & Smatie Yemenetzi-Malathouni (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece).

Via its digital press and its open access academic journal, Ex-centric Narratives (https://ejournals.lib.auth.gr/ExCentric), the HELAAS Board members aim at making new research produced accessible to all in addition to enhancing collaborations between HELAAS and EAAS scholars.
