Founded by scholars from around the globe, IASA is dedicated to studying America from regional, national, hemispheric, and transnational perspectives. As we expand our Continental Chapters—regional divisions focused on local activities—we invite YOU to join us!

Instead of competing with regional or national associations, IASA collaborates with them to enrich their work and create synergies that benefit the wider academic community.

Submit a 250-300 word abstract of your ideas, along with a brief bio-sketch (max. 200 words), by November 1, 2024, to get involved. We recommend doing some research on IASA beforehand to see how we align with your regional scholarly activities and community.
